I remember back in the day when I was a child and my Daddy gave me Dimetapp when I had a cold. It was one of the few medicines that worked and that tasted good...well, not good, but "grape-like" enough so that I would not run away from the spoon.
As for today, I still take Dimetapp for my coughs and other little cold problems because it helps. Of course I do not take the medicine for a full-blown flu, but more so during those little colds that are just annoying enough to make you want to take some kind of medicine.
Dimetapp works quickly and does not have any side effects (to me anyway) and never has had any side effects--even as a 4 year old, there were no side effects. As far as drug interactions, I have never had to worry about that because I rarely am on any type of medication.
I would definitely purchase Dimetapp again, and I am also willing to purchase it for my own children when I find that right man and actually decide to do have a few of the cute lil' ones. :) (crossing my fingers)
