| newmom's Full Review: Eureka Enviro Steamer 370 Upright Vacuum |
About a year ago Sears had a sale on this vacuum. We needed a new vac, & this one had the right price at the right time, so I got it.
I have a very messy toddler, a border collie dog, & a cat, & (at the time) a somewhat large house. Therefore, I needed a vacuum that could stand up to a challenge. This one did a fine job. I think it was my favorite vacuum (I've tried at least 5 different brands in the last 6 years).
The only negative comment I can make about it, is that the holes inside of the vacuum do tend to clog up easily with debris. However, the owner's manual tells you how to determine which hole might be clogged, & explains well how to fix it. If this very un-mechanical woman can figure it out & fix it, than ANYBODY can! :o) Just make sure to keep a screw driver handy.
I think I miss this vacuum cleaner more than I do my soon to be ex-husband!
Pros:
~ Lightweight
~ Easy to maneuver
~ Has good suction
~ Picks up animal hair well
~ The filter cuts down on air borne allergies
~ Easy to carry & use on stairs

~ Good owner's manual, that explains everything - from how to take it apart & clean clogged holes, to replacing the belt, & everything in between.
~ Small, so easy to store
Cons:
~The bags are small, & tend to need replacing frequently.
~ The holes on the inside of the vacuum are smallish, & clog easily with hair & paper.
