| adiliber's Full Review: Evenflo SuperSaucer Activity Center |
I received the Evenflo SuperSaucer as a Shower gift from my sister in law. When it came time to make out a list for prospective gifts for the shower the SuperSaucer was not on the list. It never made it onto the list because I was not very picky as to which model or style of exercise and entertainment centers I preferred so I kept that part of the list open, I now regard it. Seeing that I was having my first child, I lacked experience and was very uncertain as to what a baby would like/dislike. I wish I had asked around first.
It is not that I am disappointed with the Evenflo SuperSaucer I just wish I would have asked for the model that is superior to the SuperSaucer. The SuperSaucer has more toys/gadgets than the average exercise and entertainment center has, yet I still feel that after a few minutes of playing in the center a child might tend to get a little bored. For the price I wish they had added more things to keep the child’s mind intrigued.
The SuperSaucer does come with 6 interactive toys, 1 teething ring, and a musical song. Adam is 10 months old and he has broken 1 of the 6 interactive toys. Of the 6 toys there are 2 that are almost useless. Although the teether is VERY handy. Adam has been using the SuperSaucer since the age of 4 months. At first he just sat there, but now he moves around like a rocket. Adam can spent anywhere from 5 seconds to 1 hr in the SuperSaucer. It is durable I will say that. The SuperSaucer is recommended for children up walking age, as well as a maximum height of 30”.
The center comes in 3 adjustable height positions. Adam is already on the last one. We have had to move it quite a few times already. It also rocks, spins and bounces. At the same time you can flip the feet down to stabilize rocking. It also comes equipped with a six position seat lock. Adam’s favorite part of the SuperSaucer is the bouncing part. There are nights when we think he will catapult himself into the other room. What I also find enjoyable is the fact that the seat is machine washable.
Overall I am pleased with the Evenflo SuperSaucer I just wish I had chosen the higher end model, cause for the price it should have come equipped with a bit more.
Just a side note, don't expect to put this center up in minutes. My husband is rather fast and it took him a couple of hours. It came in a million pieces, good luck!
