I have used Farberware coffee pots for over 20 years. I have tried numerous other coffee makers, but always go back to Farberware. What is so great about this pot is that it can be programmed ahead of time and you can wake up to the smell of fresh brewed coffee. Unlike the other coffee makers that are also programmable, this coffee stays hot. Other coffee makers may look nicer, have better advertising gimmicks, but this one will do the job. I have tried other brands only for the convenience of having a programmable coffee pot. I am not a morning person, so to wake up with a real hot, wonderful smelling cup of coffee is great. The size is also an additional benefit, especially if you are planning on having company and will need to brew more than a cup or two. This pot is also very quick. As with all Farberware coffeemakers, it brews one cup per minute. No other coffee pot can match that. CONVENIENCE AND RELIABILITY is what we have here.
