I have tried all the other electric coffee makers. The Farberware Stainless steel 12 cup electric percolator,beats them all hands down. It is a great cup of percolated coffee. This pot makes 12 cups in 12 minutes, of great coffee.
There are no replacement pots to buy, no replacement parts to buy. The pot is sturdy, dependable, and very attractive. I set it up the night before, and just plug it in in the morning. While you dress, the pot perks a wonderful cup of coffee. Once you have tasted coffee from this pot, you wont go back to the other methods or makers. This pot was a gift quite a few years ago. It has been in daily use for over seven years. When we are home, it stays plugged in all day. We are big coffee drinkers,and appreciate a good cup of percolator coffee.
The Farberware Stainless 12 cup percolator, model FCP512s is worth every penny you will pay for it. $59.00 is the price. However they do go on sale for $40.00. They do come in smaller sizes also, for less. Try one,you will love it.
