ocgirl88's Full Review: FUJIFILM Nexia Q1 24mm Film Camera
I bought this camera for about 70 Canadian dollars. I am a teenager, and liked the style, and look of this camera. It uses the advanced photo system, so before you take the picture you can choose between the regular 4x6 size, as well as the 4x7 size. Once the film is developed, you can also get reprints in the landscape size which I believe is about 4x10 or 4x11. I took this camera on a camping trip, and although there is no zoom, and it is less than 35mm, so it appears you a bit farther away from the subject, the pictures were sharp, and the colours were superb.
One side of the neck strap came out of the camera, and I called Fuji. They told me to send it out to their Vancouver office, and they would fix it at no cost, as well as send money to cover the price that it cost me to send it. Instead of fixing it, they sent me a brand new camera with film at no extra cost to me. I thought that this is what customer service should be like from every company. In conclusion, this is a good camera for taking pictures of your friends, family, and on vacation. This is not the camera to buy if you are looking for great clarity or zoom, since there is no zoom. I am a scrapbooker, and used this camera to take all of the pictures in my two albums. It works fine in cold weather, as I have taken it skiing many times, and also works in the hot sun. Although this camera has been dropped, froze, and overheated and I have had it for about two years, I have had no other problem at all except for the neck strap detaching, . And if I did, I am confident that Fuji would be happy to fix or replace at no extra cost.
