| bradshawcl's Full Review: Gorilla Glue |
I had originally bought some Gorilla Glue for some crafting projects, but turns out its much better to use around the house to glue stuff back together. I bought a small, 2 ounce bottle over at Wal Mart for around $5. This stuff is over in the paint section in case you're ever searching for it.
You need to be sure to keep this stuff out of reach of kids, because there's no type of child proof cap on it or anything, just a screw top cap. This bonds wood, stone, metal, ceramics, foam, glass and more. To use this, you first need to moisten the item you want to glue, and then glue it back together, and then you'll want to clamp the item down if it's something like a flower pot or something, to be honest I've used this and not clamped it down and it's been fine.
One thing for sure you don't want to use a whole bunch of this glue, because if you do, you'll have a time cleaning it up, and you'll need some type of solvent like paint thinner, but if the glue dries into the little foamy form after it dries, you can take sandpaper and rub it off. This glue doesn't smell too friendly either so be aware of that. The glue is a dark tan, but will dry to a lighter beige and it is stainable, and 100 percent waterproof too.
This glue pretty much works on anything- I had this metal towel bar that had been driving me insane shifting around and the rod kept falling out, but I fixed that right up with some of this and that dude hasn't move since. I also had some stupid little decorative knobs that kept falling off my coat rack and had used every glue imaginable on it, and this was the only thing that kept it on.
Overall, nothing bad to say except this stuff is a little smelly. Other than that, if you have something you've been trying to glue together and it won't stay glued, get a bottle of this stuff!
