Pros: Large tray, sturdy
Cons: Very bulky, difficult to adjust recline positions
The Bottom Line: This high chair is difficult to use. For a few more dollars you can get a much more user friendly highchair.

| chicago1's Full Review: Graco Neat Seat High Chair 3656 |
When my daughter was 4 months old I began looking on the internet for a high chair sine I figured it would be easier than making a trek to one of those super baby stores. I found this "Neat Seat" on line. The price was great at $70.
I was kind of taken in by the one hand release feature and unfortunately it has not worked well at all for me. It never comes off when i pull the handle (which is located on the front of the tray) so I end up putting my baby on the floor and using the release handles on each side of the tray - this defeats the whole purpose I liked about being able to use one hand. It is also difficult to get the tray securely hooked on the sides of the highchair - more than once my baby has pushed it off onto the floor.
The recline positions are very difficult to adjust and with an infant you need to adjust them ever few months as they grow and gain the strength to sit up on their own. The same thing can be said for the height positions which fortunately i have only had to adjust once.
This is a very bulky high chair and does not fold up for easy storage. There is no where to put the tray so I end up just taking it off and setting it inside the seat though it has a tendency to fall. The seat has wheels but once again this is a rather large high chair so it is not something you can easily move from one room to the next.
There are many crevices for things to fall in and get stuck so it makes cleaning a little difficult. But if the food is just on the surface its vinyl exterior is very easy to wipe off.
As for the good features of this high chair - It is very affordable compared to some high chairs out there that are very popular. I find the tray very easy to wipe clean and I like that the tray can be adjusted to be very close to the baby and as she grows it can move farther and farther out. It does also have a rack behind the seat to hang bibs, towels, etc.
I would recommend spending a few extra dollars and getting a better quality seat that has all the fine tuning done that this seat lacks - such as portability and easier adjustment features.
