Right on the back it says, "Add ZEST with Gulden's secret blend of premium mustard seeds and spices." Yum!
I like mustard because I can get a lot of flavor without a lot of calories. It's a guilt free way to enjoy sauces. Most sauces add 100s of calories to a dish. Mustard is one of the only ways to get flavor without fat and carbs. Gulden's is one of the best out there.
Did you know that Gulden's spicey brown mustard is a gold medal winner? They took first at the 9th annual worldwide Napa Valley Mustard Festival, with good reason too!
The Gulden's Spicy Brown Mustard recipe includes a blend of premium mustard seeds and spices gathered from many parts of the world. The spice mixture has been kept secret for over 140 years.
Gulden's has that perfect "tang" that kicks in after a bite of good mustard. It's not overly spicy, like some mustards, nor overly "seedy." It's the perfect blend of creaminess and zip!
Gulden's mustard has NO fat, NO carbohydrates and only 5 calories a serving! Think, you can enjoy all the flavor without any guilt! I like to put Gulden's on my turkey dogs. It's also great for eggs, egg salad, potato salad, macaroni salad, cold cuts, pretzels, BBQ and marinades. Dieting never looked so easy!

History
Charles Gulden established his mustard company in 1862 near the South Street Seaport in New York City. From the port, Gulden purchased the imported seeds and spices that earned his mustard a prestigious award from the American Institute in 1869 and 1883. Gulden's also earned awards at the Chicago World's Fair in 1893, the Paris Exposition in 1900, the Sesquicentennial International Exposition in Philadelphia in 1926, and the Napa Valley Mustard Festival in 2005.

Vinegar, Mustard Seed, Salt, Spices, Turmeric.
Just in case you were wondering, turmeric is a plant that comes from the ginger family. After being dried in hot ovens, it is ground into an orange-yellow powder. It is used for dyeing, in spices and Asian foods as well as adding the color to mustard! It has a bitter, peppery flavor and that "mustard" smell.
