Hamilton Beach Brew Station- Best coffee maker we've ever used!

Pros: Simple to use, works as advertised and brews a great tasting cup of coffee.
Cons: Not as fast as Bunn, but better coffee!
Coffee pours slower the last few cups.
The Bottom Line: Thank-you Hamilton Beach for making a coffee maker that really works as advertised at an affordable price!

We bought this coffee maker after years of trying to find the perfect home brewing system
I work at home and my wife likes to have coffee every morning when she gets out of bed.
We get a new coffee maker every year or 2 and have not found any that come close to this one. We drink a lot of coffee.
We've owned several Braun coffee makers and finally caught on that Braun coffee makers just are not built to last.
The heating elements ALWAYS wear out.
We decided to buy a Bunn as they have a great reputation for brewing a FAST pot of coffee as they always keep a full pot of water hot and ready to brew 10 cups in about5 minutes.
The Bunn worked fine but again the coffee was NEVER hot enough and the unit is always ON to keep the water ready for the next pot.
Next we tried a Melita coffee maker. The Melita brewed an excellent cup of coffee, however had one major flaw. The "pause and pour" device OFTEN malfunctions and you end up coming back to the kitchen to find a BIG mess. Coffee all over the counter, under the machine and on the floor. If you don't position the pot PERFECTLY on a Melita the coffee overflows everywhere. We threw the melita out when it was still working as we didn't feel it was right to sell it in a garage sale knowing this defect.
My wife suggested the Hamilton Beach Brew Station. I was skeptical at first as we had several coffee makers that were more expensive than the Hamilton Beach in the past that let us down.
We Purchased the Hamilton Beach Brew Station for $49.99 at Target and have been very pleased with its performance and the quality of coffee it produces.
NOW I AM A BELIEVER! It it simple to use, the coffee is GREAT, there is no glass carafe to break and we don't have to worry about leaving the house and forgetting to turn it off.It brews about 1 cup per minute, however you can dispense a cup at any time during the brewing process.It is easy to clean, has a clock and an automatic start feature. It automatically shuts off in 2 hours. The coffee stays warm enough to drink for close to an hour after it shuts off. The coffee never gets bitter or burned tasting. If you are having company and want to fill multiple cups you can remove the tank and pour directly from it. It even has an easy to pour from lip! Simply put this is the BEST coffee maker we've ever used and I would HIGHLY recommend it! Besides all of this it is about half the price of some of the coffeemakers that couldn't even compare. GOOD JOB HAMILTION BEACH. THUMBS UP!
