Cons: I cant think of a single con (other then regularly stocking D batteries)
The Bottom Line: I would get in my car and go buy a new one if ours ever broke.

Bring On the Popper:
Playskool busy ball popper is a golden gift for any active toddler! First off, the ball popper pictured looks like a bad 80's flick, so don't let it scare you. The newest version is much easier on the eyes and includes five solid color balls that match modern decor without the added intensity. Returning to the topic at hand, my daughter eagerly tore into the over taped box and vigorously pulled out about 10 or so parts while we clamored to salvage the instructions before she munched on them :) Once we navigated the maze of step 1. 2. 3. instructions we assembled one very strange looking toy. It looked to me like a cross between a spaceship and a hamster cage, but hey modern is good, I can do modern. -4 D batteries later we crossed our fingers and hoped for the best.
The Turn Ons:
We only had to show our daughter the big red "magic" button once (it's the size of a ping pong ball half and perfect for little hands). This wonder button wrenches the whirring, blowing, popping, ball ship into action and that my friends is where the magic begins!!! Be prepared for screaming, squealing, spinning, running and thoroughly delighted children! Also, be prepared to chase 5 little balls all over your house. The balls included are lightweight and pliable so they won't break anything while launching into your furniture, but oh what a sight! It's actually pretty great to watch! Each press of the button simultaneously maneuvers the balls up through a clear maze, around the top ramp, launching several random balls into the atmosphere. The best part is you can do it over and over again! We've been lucky keeping up with the balls, however they are sized such that you'll surely find the strays under your high rise furniture. The air that propels the balls through the device is also a favorite, my daughter loves the Marilyn Monroe hair effect as the air blows her hair all around while she's standing over it. The toy plays eight mega -fast -high energy tunes with an audible equivalent to 10 straight mochachinos. -One song and suddenly I'm the one who's whizzing around the house!
Turn It Off!:
After 5 months of good hard playing I still can’t seem to peel my daughter away from it once she gets started, the batteries are still going strong but after the five hundredth time of hearing those whizzing musical songs you begin loosing personal momentum.
Take One Home!
I think this little $19.00 toy should be in every wound up toddlers collection in America. There's another neat feature that isn't mentioned on the box, perhaps the greatest one of all, its perfect for busy moms to get a good solid 45 minutes of ANYTHING done every time. In fact, I think I can hear the music starting up now.......... Gotta RUN!!!
