Cons: No volume switch and you cannot turn off music/sound effects without turning off popper.

My daughter received the Ball Popper for her first birthday two months ago, and she has become a Ball Popper addict.
She loves the Ball Popper more than any toy she has ever played with!
This toy helps my daughter get exercise, learn colors, and work on her gross motor skills. The balls fly out unpredictably, and she quickly chases after them and brings them back, setting the balls on top so she can watch them twirl down the chute and pop back up again. She likes to stand up next to it to get a different perspective of the balls popping up. Each ball is a different color, so when I see one on the floor, I say, "There's the red ball! Go get the red ball!" and she knows which ball I'm talking about.
My daughter has developed an attachment to the blue ball, and she carries it everywhere, like a security blanket. If we have to go to out somewhere and she can't take the ball popper, she is content to just take one of the balls, which are just the right size for a one-year-old's hand.
Since my child has played with the Ball Popper an average of an hour a day, I thought the three DD batteries that came with it would wear out quickly, but they lasted a month. Now we use rechargeable batteries and charge them once or twice a week while she sleeps. She is not happy when the batteries wear out - we put it away and tell her it's sleeping so she forgets about it.
We love the ball popper because it's the one thing that keeps our daughter busy for more than ten minutes. I was afraid I would get sick of the music, but the tunes are pretty unique to this toy ("Rockin' Robin", for instance) and they aren't as tinny and annoying as the music in other toys.
