Cute but somewhat deceiving

While the Newborn piglet FurReal friends toy is a cute toy I found it to be pretty deceiving and would not recommend it for children older than six or seven. The toy itself is recommended for ages four and up; however, I do not believe that there is enough entertainment in this toy for a child over the age of six or seven.

The piglet is promoted in such a way that one would believe it is more interactive than it actually is which is why I call the toy deceiving. The "interactivity" of the toy itself involves pushing a button on the back of the piglet to make the piglet oink and squeel, bow down and wiggle it's tail. The unfortunate part is that there is no specific "tricks" that this toy performs so the "interactivity" is simply pushing or "stroking" a button on the piglet's back.

Another dismaying factor with this toy is that although it comes with a feeding bottle, the piglet does not actually respond to the bottle with suckling, in fact the piglets mouth does not even open to receive the bottle.

The only real pro's I can give as far as this toy in concerned is that it is cute and collectible for older children who may be interested in this line of toys. I do think that the more interactive toys made by the FurReal friends line (such as the ponies or the parrot) are more fun; however they are much less affordable than the newborn FurReal line of toys.

All in all I found this toy to be a big disappointment.
