Pros: Great detail, good size for hands, nice variety from the movie.
Cons: Chokeable for younger children, would be more fun with the playset.
The Bottom Line: I recommend the Monsters Inc. Gift pack for children who like to reinact and use their imagination, otherwise they may just collect dust in the toy box!

What can I say? I am a 27 year old mother who has seen the movie TWICE, not because her daughter wanted to see it again, but because her MOM wanted to see it again:) Yes, I can't get enough of Monsters Inc., and in a time where the world is unstable as well as my own life, it's nice to take in a good story that I can laugh and cry with, and still wanting more!
So what do you do after seeing such a wonderful film? Well, what Retailers WANT you to do- buy the movie merchandise! So after buying both Boo Dolls earlier in the Christmas Season, I purchased the Gift Packs for my nephews who LOVE the movie as well! There are 2 different sets, each only cost me $6.50- it was a 50% off sale at the Kohl's Department Store in the Fox Cities.
So why did I buy these? Simple, kids love to reinact the movie, and these are the perfect way to do it! In this pack you will receive:
***Mike Wazowski- Sully's roommate and one-eyed boyfriend to Celia.
***Celia-the crazy receptionist at Monsters Inc with the Snake hair do!
***Boo in Monster Costume- speaks for herself!
***Yetti- yes, that's right, forget the snow monster in Rudolph, the Yetti can take him out in any match! He also make a mean snow cone!
***Fast Shave George Anderson- poor George, this is the ONCE fuzzy orange lovelable monster who got an unexpected hair cut!
***Thaddeus Bile- yet another monster from Monsters, Inc.
My nephews were over yesterday and had Christmas at my home early due to other plans they have this coming week. They each opened them at were thrilled! I asked to see them out of the box so I could tell you folks what I liked/disliked about them.
LIKE
I like the detail to each character, they are easy enough to hold, and seem to stand well on a hard surface.
DISLIKE
Well, for one thing, you can hardly see Boo in that costume. The costume has wonderful detail, but not enough Boo for kids to see. Boo is also the smallest character, easy to lose. Nephews liked them, but had nothing to play with them in, like a city or playset. For those of you considering these for Christmas yet or for future reference, there IS a playset of Sully and Mike's bedroom, the sliding doors, and the scare set, but it is around $32 and also has many parts to it! I couldn't afford all of that, but you may want to get the playset and then get a gift pack so they have more monsters to play with!
In Conclusion
All in all, I think the figures are fun for children to play with, but should be kept to ages 5 and up and away from small children who may choke on them! You can find these Monster Gift Packs on Ebay, at the Disney Store, Toys R Us Outlets or at your local Department Store. But get them while they are here, Monsters Inc. is a hot commodity this season!
Merry Christmas!
