Pros: Works right away, doesn't leave hair dry and damaged, no need to use every day
Cons: It could smell better
The Bottom Line: This product works, is gentle on hair and scalp, and really does make the white stuff go away. I highly recommend it.

| Pameladugan's Full Review: Head and Shoulders Intensive Treatment |
Until recently, my psoriasis was not causing trouble with my scalp. However, now, because of stress and other factors, it has just been so bad. The doctor prescribed me a medicated shampoo to deal with it, which worked, but I had to use it almost every day, and it was very expensive.
That's when I decided to try Head and Shoulders Intensive Treatment. The bottle I bought cost around $4.50, and from the first time I used it, I saw instant results.
The directions say to use it at least twice a week for best results, but that it is gentle enough to use every day. Twice a week? After what I went through with the prescription stuff, I figured that was an over estimation of how well the product worked. I was wrong.
Head and Shoulders Intensive Treatment worked so well for me, that I really do only need to use it twice a week for the white flaky stuff to go away for good. When I was using the medicated shampoo, I noticed that my scalp would get red in the effected areas. Not so with H&S. No redness, no flakiness, no itchiness, nothing but clean hair and scalp.
As a matter of fact, the only thing I can find wrong with Head and Shoulders Intensive Treatment is the scent. It's not terrible, but it could be nicer. However, compared to the prescription stuff, this is WAY better.
