Pros: Great SQ, look good, angled tweeter, more bass than you think.
Cons: none
The Bottom Line: The Infinity 652i's are a worthwhile investment to any car audio system. The bass is thrilling and powerfull, whilst the highs are clean and clear. Well done Infinity.

| mr_wood's Full Review: Infinity Reference 652i Car Component System |
I've recently installed a set of these into the front doors of my 89 VW Passat. Installation was very easy and the instructions provided plenty of relevent information to location and staging. These are hooked up via oxygen free copper cable to an Alpine V12 MRV-F307. This supplies 59RMS (90w peak) at 14v to each speaker.
I cut off all freq from 90hz and down and run them in for about a week and a half before any 'real' use.
The tweeters themselves are mounted at an angle on a rotatable 'stand'. This can be rotated 359 degrees and operated on a ratchet system, so that they don't rattle free.
The quality from these speakers is very good. The music is loud, and clear without any distortion (none that i could hear)and really captures you. The bass is strong and the highs are produced flawlessly with little colouration and is no way 'sharp', so that i can can turn these up as loud as my amp will go, without my ears screaming for mercy.
Very impressed.
