Pros: Great camera, going down in price, nice LCD
Cons: There are better formats
The Bottom Line: If you want a quick way for video taping that's light, this is great, if you want higher quality go for DV

This is a GREAT camera if your a little short on cash and don't care about having the newest and best format. It is a nice light weight camera and is perfect to toss in a backpack and take to the show, or anywhere you don't want to lug an over the shoulder 90 pound professional camera. It a FX like Inverting colors and making fake fog. It's interesting to make a little movie and then patch them together on the computer with some effects. I suggest it for kids especially. If they're creative, they can have a party with their friends and make some really cool movies, i know my kids did.
