Pros: It works, gives multiple ear gels for different sized ears.
Cons: Poor volume on earpiece, echos on microphone.
The Bottom Line: Maybe a good concept but poor implementation. The poor volume on the earphone and the difficulty in getting the eargel to stay in your ear hurt this item.

| yusakugo's Full Review: Jabra 2.5mm Jack Earbud |
Since updating my cell phone from Nokia to Motorola... I needed to buy a couple of accessories. A car charger, a second travel charger, and a hands free headset...
I happened to be in my local Wal-Mart when I find the Jabra EarBud with 2.5mm Jack. I remembered that the Jabra headset were rated highly last year by magazines like PC Magazine and the such. That and the price of $10 had me at the register buying this little headset.
That was only a prelude to the problems this headset would give me.
The Short Take?
This is a compact little hands free set... the EarBud is basically the earphone with an interchangable eargel (6 included in the package for which side ear and three different sizes), a microphone a little down the wire, and the 2.5mm plug. A plastic clip is included to keep the device close to your body. The microphone is fairly sensitive and should easily pick up your voice (I didn't have problems in that department).
That is about all the good parts of the device. Now for the bad. Even with the volume all the way up on the phone, the volume on the earpiece is tinny and low. You could remove the eargel to improve the volume a bit... but without the eargel, the earphone doesn't stay in your ear... or it hurts because you had to dig it in that deep! The people I called all heard voice echos while I used the EarBud... which annoyed them.
I kinda surprised that this device had ever rated good reviews... I thought this was a major disappointment and would never recommend the Jabra EarBud to anyone.
Pros:
1) Small device
2) Cheap
Cons:
1) Low earphone volume
2) Echos on microphone
3) EarGel didn't stay in my ear despite my best efforts
A little more on the EarGel
You are given three EarGels... three different sizes and one of each side for each ear. The EarGels are rather comfortable to place into your ear... however, I had problems with keeping the thing inside my ear. The medium size was a bit too big and rather uncomfortable. The small seemed to fit perfectly but after a few minutes, it would plop out of my ear. This was particularly annoying during conversations.
Volume and Pickup
As I already said, the volume is extremely low... even if you removed the EarGel and placed the earphone into your ear, the volume is still low! This is at the highest volume settings of the phone!
Pickup of the microphone was fairly good... I picked up my voice even when I was mumbling. However, it also picked up the background noise quite well too. The other problem is the echoing problem experienced by the person I was talking to.
Final Thoughts
Recommended if you want to frustrate yourself.
For those that want a decent product, look elsewhere... heck, anywhere else.

The hands free set I got from there worked rather well and for the same price I paid for this Jabra!
