Pros: Great value for the price, quality sound.
Cons: Volume and tuning controls are placed too close.
The Bottom Line: I read an earlier review of this product, and when offered a killer deal on e-bay, I couldn't pass it up (I got them at half the recommended price)!

| ritejus28's Full Review: Audiovox JW-160 Wireless Headphones |
I bought these headphones in an auction on e-bay after reading reviews here. I use them for listening to mp3's on my computer because I don't want to disturb my roommates while I'm jamming to my eclectic choices of music at 3AM. Installation is very simple; took about 5 minutes, then setting the frequency was a snap with the well written and easy to follow instructions. The receiver has to be plugged in, and the headphones require two AAA batteries, and at this time, I don't know how long they will last, but I recommend you get some rechargeable batteries just in case. While setting the frequency, I found what I considered the only con of this product - the "volume" and "channel" dials are closely placed on the same side of the headphones, making it easy to adjust the wrong control, which can be fairly irritating. Once I had everything set, I took a walk around the 5 bedroom house I live in, inside and out, to test the range. While there were some static and drop outs, minor adjustment of the "channel" dial remedied the problem with no issues. The sound that came from the headphones was crystal clear and comparable to high quality stereo headphones from other brands I've used in the past. Overall, I am extremely pleased and impressed with these headphones. This is the first product from Jensen I've ever purchased, and if I'm looking for any other audio equipment, I'll make sure to keep the Jensen brand on the list for possibilities.
