Pros: makes skin soft
Cons: even after using as directed, it didn't produce the results advertised.
The Bottom Line: I say that Naturally Smooth is no better than any other Jergens lotions. It didn't produce the minimizing shaving results but it did leave my skin soft.

I had seen Jergens Naturally Smooth lotion on TV a few weeks before I bought it. One day when I was at work at Walgreens, I was assigned to mark down some of the overstock. That is when I came across this product and decided to buy it. It was originally priced $6.98 for a 19.9 fluid ounce pump bottle. Now my manager was having me mark it down to $0.99. This was two months ago.
I was very diligent with using the lotion. Every night before bed, I would put some on my legs. I used the lotion as directed and I have yet to see any of the result they speak of. Sure, my skin is soft from using it, but that is it. I have other lotions that can do the skin softening job.
What It Say It Is Supposed To Do
It says that if you use this lotion daily on the areas that you shave it will help make your hair finer, softer and less noticeable, thus having you shave less often. The immediate effects are all day moisturization leaving skin soft and smooth. In four to eight weeks it is supposed to make shaving faster and easier due to the hair being softer and finer. It also says that by this time you will be shaving less often. Then of course, it says that with continued use shaving will continue to be quicker and even less frequent.
Directions
It says that this lotion should be applied once a day for optimal results. It can also be used as a regular all over body moisturizer.
Ingredients
Water, Glycerin, Cetearyl Alcohol, Petrolatum, Mineral Oil, Ceteareth-20,SD Alcohol 40-B, Herbal Silk, Aluminum Starch Octenylsuccinate, Cyclomethincone, Hydrolyzed Soy Protein, Dimethicone, Stearic Acid, Glyceryl Dilaurate, DMDM Hydantoin, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Fragrance, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Carbomer, Sodium Hydroxide
Now I do want to let you know that I compared this lotions ingredients with other Jergens lotions and there wasn’t much of a difference. Naturally Smooth contains about 3 extra ingredients that the other lotions lack.
Warnings
This lotion is intended for external use only. (Makes you wonder….don’t it?!)
This lotion is not to be used while shaving.
Avoid contact with the eyes.
It also says do not rinse off the moisturizer.
Conclusion
It is no better than any other Jergens lotions. It does not produce the results that it advertises regarding minimizing shaving. I honestly, wouldn't pay close to $7 for this lotion. Save your money and buy Jergens Skin Smoothing Lotion instead.
