Pros: The stained glass ceiling.
Cons: Pizza would get a negative Star!
The Bottom Line: When you ask one of the waiters, 'what the best item on the menu is' and they don't mention pizza; there is a problem.

SOS = S*** on Shingle..many of you know this term and some don't for those that do not know the original term; its what is known by the US Military who adopted this phrase regarding the not so enticing and edible food...Ladies and Gentleman that is the best and only way to describe our dining experience at John's Pizzeria in NY on 260 W 44th St; most would prefer WWII chipped beef an cream to what we ate...they are called a Pizzeria, however the food was to say the least, "Horrible at Best". We wanted to eat at this restaurant since the Food Network showed a program regarding the unique dining atmosphere, it was a former church in the 1940's; well they need to start praying because it will take God to get them out of the H**lish situation they will put you in should you choose to dine there...how can I put this, we ordered a Small pizza, half pepperoni, half ricotta with sliced tomatoes; what we tasted was the likings of a cardboard box with tomato paste and the cheese...well if that was cheese then we need to start looking into our dairy farms because that was more like Elmer's glue...when we needed Service our Waitress was MIA...I could go on an on regarding the bill($40-small pizza, water and soda) but at the end of the day...stay away!
