This is a great surprise! I was in the City with my family and we found this place, from the outside it looks like a little typical NYC style pizzaria, but its really and old church. it is huge!! which is ver very rare for a restaurant in midtown. there are 2 floors of tables, enormous ceilings, and a beautiful mural on the largest wall. Not to mention the antique stained class from the church days. there is usually always a table, or if not--the wait is very short. the pizzas are delicious, thin crust, brick oven baked. ive been there many times since--and it is a favorite of theatre goers and those who star there. i highly recomned john's
