What you get in this package is the shower cleanser, four AA batteries, the holder for your shower, the hanger to hold this unit and a refill. You will need to attach the hanger to the body of the holder for hanging in the shower, remove the cap from the bottle and align the notch to place it upside down in the holder and hang from shower head.
If you look on the internet you can find coupons for your purchase of this kit that will bring the total cost down a bit since this kit normally sells for around $20.00. Refills for the unit run about $5.00 each and I did not find that it lasted for a month with 2 adults and 2 children using the bathtub/shower. I only used it for the 2 bottles that came with it. I did not feel it was worth the purchase price of needing $10.00 worth of cleanser for a month when a bottle of another cleaner is much less and lasts over a month.
To run the unit you push the blue button on the front and it beeps prior to turning on and running its spray pattern. This gives you time to close the shower curtain or door so that you do not end up with cleaner on you. Not to worry there is plenty of time to get out of the way before it starts the spray.
I did not find any maids cleaning my tub/shower unit, nor did I find that this sprayer did as good a job as portrayed. The spray pattern did not really hit the back of the tub wall to clean it. I even tried moving the unit to hang from the middle of the shower curtain rod to see if that would help with the spray pattern, which it did not. Though this is a time saving in between cleaner I did not find it effective.
I have a fiberglass surround tub/shower and the company that installed this does not recommend using this product and it could void a warranty if discovered. So check your warranty before you use it. I did not know about this at the time and discontinued use of it for this reason and since it did not do the job. I did find that a spray bottle of vinegar and water works far better in between cleaning and is really economical and does the job quite well with the surround.
