I have been using the Johnson's soothing skin baby lotion on my daughter for 3 weeks now. I had been using Gerber and Lander and did not like the way it made her skin slimy and got all over everything.
So far I can not complain about Johnson's soothing skin baby lotion. My daughter's skin is softer and the dry skin she had around her knees and ankles is now healed. It wipes off easily from your hands with only water. And the cap does not leak un like the others I have used in the past.
I purchased the 12 fluid oz. bottle at the drug store up the street for only 2.99 , to me that is a cheap price to pay for some thing that helps my baby's skin.
I find the strongest points about it to be:
1. It goes on easy
2. It wipes off easily
3. It is safe for my daughter's delicate skin
4. Leaves her skin smelling nice and feeling smooth.
5. Soothes irritations and dry or peeling skin.
I am very pleased with this purchase and plan on stocking up on a whole bunch of it just as soon as I get a chance to go out " with a two month old that is not very often "
Directions for use:
Simply smooth over the entire body to help soften and moisturize the skin. You can never use too little but be careful not to use too much on baby's hands or he/she will end up with it in their mouth if they are anything like my daughter.
Ingredients are as follows:
Water , stearic acid , mineral oil , glyceryl stearate , isopopyl myristate , propylene glycol , triethanolamine , methylparaben , propylparaben , fragrance , aloe , and tocopherol.
The warnings are as follows:
On the bottle it clearly says that you should keep this product out of reach of children. Also Johnson's soothing skin baby lotion is meant for external use only.
So far since I have used it I am sold on this product. I don't want to try anything else because the Johnson's soothing skin baby lotion has worked so well for my daughter. I even use it myself from time to time when my elbows get chapped and it works wonders for me.
