Making the decision to breastfeed wasn’t that difficult for me. This was one of the things I decided even before I was pregnant. I remember reading about the possibility of lactating and finding the proper nursing pads to protect against such leakage.
Enter Johnson’s Baby Nursing Pads.
I stumbled upon them on one of my many trips to Wal-Mart and liked what they had to say:

I thought at $10.99 for a pack of 60 was an okay price and I'd give them a try.
My Experiences
Here my thoughts based on what Johnson’s says about this product:
Special Absorbent Core – Pulls and locks moisture away from skin for longer lasting protection
I’d have to agree. For the most part, I’ve stayed fairly dry. One breast leaks more than the other, but I usually change the pad if it gets too wet. When I’ve taken off the used pad, it feels extra heavy and I think that’s from the all the moisture that ‘s been sucked in.
Breathable Protective Cover – keeps clothes dry while enabling airflow to help relieve sore nipples
I agree once again. Although I haven’t been out except grocery shopping, I can’t say that I’ve ever experienced leaky headlights while in public (thank goodness).
Cushiony-Soft Lining – For superior softness and comfort
Amen to this feature. I love the soft cottony texture. It doesn’t feel like paper on my skin and there are times when I forget it’s there. I also love that it’s got a lot of padding. It helped during the first trying days of nursing when my nipples were at their worst.
Special Contour Shape – For secure comfortable fit & complete discretion
One of the first things I noticed about these pads is that they are shaped like a woman's breast. I like this feature as it’s like a pillow for my nipples.
Unique Nipple Indentation – Provides soft, soothing comfort for sore nipples
What an amazing feature. It’s almost as if this indentation is made specifically for your nipples and it’s helped with some of my sore days.
Non-Slip Adhesive Strip – Secures pad for confident protection day or night
There have been some occasions when the pad has slipped out of place, so I’d have to say that this is somewhat true. When it does stay in place, it does keep my bra and clothes dry.
Silent Rustle-Free Design – Quiet under clothing for more discretion
I’m not exactly sure how this is silent or quiet, but unless I’m wearing a skin-tight top, no one will know that I have them on.
Putting on the Johnson’s Nursing Pads are a snap for me as well. I remove the adhesive strip, place the pad over my breast then cover it with my nursing bra and then I’m on my way. It also doesn’t get in the way of nursing which is an added bonus, especially on those days when Elijah is fussy and very hungry.
Because I tend to lactate on one side more, I have to change them about 3 times a day. They do a good job of protecting me overnight and by the next morning, I put on a fresh set and am on my way.

Final Thoughts
I've tried other nursing pads and they don't compare to the softness and comfort I feel with Johnson's. I don’t have to wear 4 at a time to keep from leaking. With Johnson’s you get optimum protection. What a relief.
