| sojournseeker's Full Review: Kit Kat King Size Candy Bars 24ct. |
You want to treat them this Halloween to safe and delicious if not nutritious goodies and I am happy to inform you that this product, Kit Kat King Size Candy Bar is tried and true by many of us over the decades I am certain, Kit Kat comes in first place for me because it may not be nutritious it still is CHEMICAL free ! Made still with milk chocolate instead of dark, this crunchy chocolate covered wafer does contain sugar we all try to avoid but here is the great part-- it won’t make you brain damaged like a product which has FD&C Yellows, Blues or Reds might according to the statistics on food additives and ADHD and/or ADD.
As some of you may already know, I am a very health-conscious consumer label reader as well as a non-licensed transpersonal psychotherapist. I read ALL foodstuffs, cosmetics and pet products toys and their food labels and warnings and nutritional diagram provided because I am constantly researching what is really good for our systems and what is not.
I base this on my concentration in chemistry, biology, anatomy, physiology, psychology and brain development studies. These fields and the information that lay rich in understanding human behavior and what affects us were discovered between my baccalaureate and masters programs for the direction as a counselor of wellness, my life was to go.
Bringing the awareness of label-reading and offering reviews on all of the foods out here I am personally familiar with, I hope to educate many and save some from serving dangerous material to their families. So with that said, Halloween and candy go hand in hand.
This Halloween won’t just be about those yummy candies that are sweet and eye-appealing, it will be about what ingredients we can trust in our kids snacks and rewards for being good little goblins, angels, faeries etc costumes they can come up with. This year I have decided to give out candy that we grew up on that still is made without those hazardous additives like FD&C Yellows, Blues and Reds which harm more than help satisfy that sweet tooth.
The Kit Kat King Size Candy Bar does the trick even though it might seem much for one kid. Here is the wacky rationalization: if you buy this bulk pack of twenty four, you have rewarded twenty four little sweet tooths with something that won’t harm them by eating unless they get so hyper they want to jump off the roof. In that case, moms and dads when your child brings this home on Halloween, break it up and freeze some of the pieces so they don’t eat the whole thing . . .
Moms and dads and kids alike will appreciate the wrapper which is bright red and snug-fitting around the 3 ounce (85 grams) net weight of pure pleasure. The crisp wafers are dipped and then covered in milk chocolate for a double your pleasure sweet-tooth satisfaction. It is manufactured by the H.B. Reese Candy Company operating out of Hershey Pennsylvania 17033-0815, USA which is a division of the famous Hershey Company. This is good to know because Hershey still can be trusted also; however the license to sell manufacture and distribute world-wide is held by the Societe des Produits Nestle S.A. in Vevey Switzerland Trademark Owners.
I appreciate the candy bar because it has four straight short sticks of chocolate sensation in each package. You can break off one at a time of the four which have perforations between that break apart uniformly. If I indulge, I'll eat one king size in a day but normally I keep one for a week, frozen awaiting me to pull out a stick as a snack after dinner. Since I have twenty-four in one box, I can have these frozen snack sticks in the freezer for up to a year ! Well not maybe a whole year . . .
Anyway, it swirls in your mouth when you bite off a sumptuous piece and just let it melt till the cracker is mushy and loaded with flavor. The sweet is powering but not nauseating as some candybars with so much going on your not sure what you taste most, least, if at all, etc. With KIT KAT King Size Candy Bars you get what it says. Rich chocolate covered crispy wafers awaiting dunking in hot cocoa, cool milk, hot milk, or in nothing at all but your mouth !

Yummy ! and now the essential part of all my foodstuff, cosmetic and pet food/toy products portion of the review . . .
the Ingredients: Sugar; Wheat flour; Non-fat milk; Cocoa Butter; Chocolate; Palm Kernel Oil; Corn Syrup Solids; Milk Fat; (2% or less of following products-- Soy Lecithin;
PGPR which is Polyglycerol Polyricinoleate (PGPR) also categorized scientifically as E476 an emulsifier that is created from castor beans to reduce the viscosity of the chocolate and similar coatings of some compounds. It is effective because it decreases the friction between the cacoa sugar and milk particles. It is used so flow can be more easily achieved when melted. It is used at low levels (fractions of percents.)
Emulsifier; Yeast; Vanillan; Artificial Flavor (this one bothers me a lot because it could be a hazardous additive and yet the website is not that detailed on this; Salt; and Sodium Bicarbonate (baking soda).
The allergy information for gluten (wheat) allergies can be found at the site and is noted on the back panel of the wrapper underneath ingredients and nutritional facts information. It states specifically that this product was manufactured in a facility that also processes peanuts, so be careful those of you that have known nut allergies.
One of the ingredients although seventh on the list, it is in here, the corn syrup solids. Well it is corn, it is from our soil, and the latter is where the issues of how good versus how bad this product really is for you. Yes corn becomes completely acidic when broken down in the digestive system however it is natural acid and since we already posess hydrochloric acid in our stomach this foodstuff is not metabolized without usefulness.
The corn dissolves by way of acid and alkaline digestive juices bombarding it and while doing so produces high amounts of energy. So corn (we think is bad for us and whats worse the natural sugary syrup of it when processed properly is no worse than chewing on raw cane sugar) and what is made from it or processed off it is not bad just to some body types, the wrong foodstuff to convert energy from. Of course some people may develop some cavities if a propensity to having them by way of a dna precursor makes you a likely candidate, but why avoid what your body can tolerate and digest if the pre-cursor is not there ?
So whether there is corn syrup solids in here and being wiser on what they can do to anyone because they are not dangerous like the additives that are known to be hazardous, grab a few boxes of this off the shelf before all the kids get to them. Make this HALLOWEEN fun and safe for your family even though the price may be a bit higher and the ratio of child to treat is 1:24 at least know this Kit Kat King Size Candy Bar was well worth it and their parents will appreciate you took the time to render than happy instead of unconscious !
Thank you for reading my review and
Enjoy !
