| doooood's Full Review: Klipsch Synergy SC-1 Center Speaker |
This is a great speaker, especially when paired with matching pitch front speakers by klipsch.
The sensitivity is very high, just like other klipsch speakers, and when paired with matching fronts, it provides the right amount of volume without too much fiddling in your system. the transitions across the front soundstage are beautiful. Voices are clear, and provide just enough depth for those lower male voices. It might not pick up James Earl Jones, but that's where we have a sub to pick up the slack!
I've tried using the speaker with a pair of db Plus bookshelf speakers, and they actually blended quite well when i had the speakers on stands, and along with a mission m74 towers in the front as well. I did have to lower the db's on the Klipsch in order to keep the sound fairly even though.
I also had it set up as a rear center for my receiver, and it was great there as well.
