Pros: Rock solid and built to be used by real athletes and runners.
Cons: Price. But with treadmills you really do get what you pay for!
The Bottom Line: If you want quality, it don't come cheap.

| juleswinfield's Full Review: Landice L7 |
That all treadmills are not created equal. The Landice L7 is our fourth treadmill in about six years. The first treadmill my wife bought was a Proform which barely outlasted it's 90 day warranty. I rarely used this one and running on it was out of the question. Next we decided to take a step up and buy a "quality" treadmill. That let us to a Spirit treadmill which set up back about 1400.00 or so. The repairman and I got to be good freinds but I grew to hate the machine. Finally the store where we bought the machine conceded that someone of my build 5 11 and 190 pounds needed a higher quality machine and took our Spirit in on trade for what they maintained was the ultimate runners treadmill the True 500.
While I will agree that this was a much better machine, the motor deck and belt bit the dust after five years or so of less than 40 miles a week from me and my 130 pound wife. The repair bill cost more than half of the $2500.00 purchase price.
After selling the machine on ebay for much less than the cost of the repair bill I made the determination to by the last treadmill I would ever own. I pretty much tried every premium brand on the market. Precor, Lifefitness, StarTrac you name it. After running on the Landice and pouring over pretty much every opinion ever expressed by Clark and Jon Stevenson of the Treadmill Doctor, I decided to make the purchase. The fact that Landice offers a lifetime warranty pretty much sums it up for me. We have had this treadmill now for 16 months and not so much as a single issue. I couldn't be any more satisfied with my purchase. If I have any regrets it's that I didn't buy quality from the start. Oh well, I still probably spent less than I would have for a triple bypass. Happy running!
