A car in the bedroom?

Pros: Sturdy, Doesn't need side rails, easy for child to get in & out of
Cons: Only comes in one color
The Bottom Line: This is a perfect transition bed for the child that is too big for a crib.

When I wrote this epinion, it was about the Little Tykes TODDLER bed. I went to read some of my Epinions, and found that Epinions MOVED my review to the twin bed. I finally figured out how to move it to the right area, so if you had read this before, please reread and rerate.Thank You.
My son was 18 months old when my daughter was born. Two months before that, he decided that he hated his crib. He would not fall asleep in the crib, at all. He would go to sleep on the floor in his room. We decided to look for toddler beds.
Neither my husband or I liked the metal beds, they didn't seem "sturdy" enough for a toddler. We had a friend who had just gotten her 5 year old a "big" bed, so she was getting rid of the race car bed.
We took it home and when my husband put it together my son got all excited yelling "My BED!". He slept in it the first night, and ever since!
What I like about this bed is that the sides are high enough that my son can't fall out of it. We didn't need to invest in the side rails, which is a big plus in my book.The crib mattress fits the frame perfectly so we didn't need to buy another mattress. Its low enough for my son to get easily in & out of.Its sturdy enough that for the nights my son wants mommy or daddy to lay with him, it holds our weight along with his.
The only problem that I can think of, is it only comes in one color (blue) but, for us that wasn't a problem because my sons room is light blue.
This is a great investment for the little boy (OR girl!) in your family.

Ok, so in reviewing my own epinions, I noticed a few off topics ratings. Why? I have no idea as the "kind" people didn't leave any comments as to WHY they rated it that. This is about the Little Tikes bed, and I rated it as I found it when my son was small.
If you rate an epinions badly, the least you can do is leave a comment as to why so the person could fix it.
