Cons: No straight-through paper path. Servicing (in some areas). Docs. weak.
The Bottom Line: For the money, it can't be beat.

I work for Samsung and know this product in and out.
This product has earned many awards and rightly so.
When you factor in the features and price, there's probably no better printer out there in its category.
There was a poor review and the person obviously didn't call our excellent toll-free printer tech. support dept. to resolve the problems 1-800-samsung or 877-873-7279.
Nevertheless, let me address the issues raised:
1. Software Incompatible. Not true. Like all manufacturers, we update our drivers regularly. The latest drivers are on our website or through our tech. support. Tech. support answers emails, but I've seen phone support to be a tad better.
2. Printing problems ( quits, restarting ). These are symptoms of the printer not being configured correctly -- Samsung's NIC printer ports are different than HP's internal NIC.
3. Printer not recognized on network. It should take 2 min. max. for the printer to be recognized. If not, then the TCP/IP address should be set manually on the lcd control panel. Then SyncThru will recognize it right off.
4. Toner Cartrige expensive. Not true. When you factor in the toner yield, the price per page is 2.0 cents per page.
Cons. This printer has no straight-through paper path, so envelopes do have a slight curl. In some areas of the country, there are no Samsung authorized depots, so you should check. In those cases, cross-shipping of defective pritners is available. The docs. sometimes is poorly worded, but all the information is there. The printer is jam-free, but when jams to occur, it's probably due to feeding from multi-purpoase tray.
