Pros: None really, rebate checks aren't any better that regular credit card rebate programs.
Cons: Interest charges, payments are not applied to the proper credit plan.

| domino8's Full Review: Menards Card |
Menards credit cards are an interest rip-off. We have a Menards Big Card, and we had a Best Buy credit card. Retail Services is the company that handles the credit on those cards. If you have a same as cash purchase and a regular purchase, and the same as cash plan is not due for awhile, extra payments are supposed to go to the regular purchase plan. Most of the time it doesn't. It states on the bill that the payment will go to the plan that is due first, but they constantly reverse payment so they can make the interest off regular accounts. Here is an example. $126.46 same as cash due ($8.34 minimum due, expires 1-9-09). $166.07 regular purchase due ($1.66 minimum due). I paid $175.00 for the regular purchase plus same as cash minimum due. Payment was made as $83.34 for same as cash, and $91.66 on regular purchase. This was done purposely to make interest off of the account. Try to understand anyone in customer service! They can't speak English very well at all! We will be closing this account also. They are crooks!
