Microsoft MS Natural Keyboard
Fits Like a Glove
I had been looking for a better keyboard to replace the one I have on my old desktop. I had that old keyboard so long that some one the letters markings are wearing off. I was looking for a replacement that was easy to install and would be very comfortable to work on.
At one of my favorite computer retail store I met this young lady that was working there. I asked her if she could recommend a keyboard that would satisfy my requirements. She told me that she had installed the Microsoft MS Natural Keyboard on her computer a few months ago and that she was very happy with the results.
She seems to know about the keyboard enough that I believed her story and I purchased the Microsoft MS Natural Keyboard and brought it home to install it.
One of my requirements was easy installation and I must admit this keyboard has to be the easiest hardware I ever installed on any of my computers. All I had to do to plug it and it operated immediately.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Microsoft MS Natural Keyboard measures 23 cm in depth x 49 cm in width x 5.5 cm in height. As you can see it is a little bit larger than most keyboards so this is one thing to make certain you have sufficient space to be able to use it.
It also differs from other keyboard by it shape. It is a split keyboard that is so designed to reduce the risk of repetitive strain injuries. Just with this feature and knowing how much some Epinions members spend time at their keyboard this may be one to look at when needing a replacement.
The keys are set at angle, so that your right hand and left hand are separated. Microsoft claims that this is a more natural way to have both hands placed for lengthy typing. I may be so but I assure you it will take some time for you to get use to this new positioning of your hands.
FEATURES
The Microsoft MS Natural Keyboard has only a few features.
A. It has USB connectivity.
B. The legs on the under side allows to adjust the height and angle.
C. It has a built-in wrist rest support.
D. The keys provide a natural tactile feedback.
E. It has a type-A downstream connector.
F. It is compatible with all Microsoft operating systems.
PERSONAL EXPERIENCE
I have been using this new Microsoft keyboard for a few weeks and outside the fact that I find it a little hard to get use to the new positioning of the hands I really like it. Getting use to it is just a matter of time.
