After almost 2 years these babies still play so loud, and hit so hard, I type a few words of this review and move stuff on my desk back to where it belongs :)
Depending on where I locate the sub, I can rattle the walls on the other side of the house. ( 1950 Sq. Ft )
What you get
Main control box, the heart of the system. From here you control the sound system. All adjustments are made with a touch of a few buttons. The system will automatically decode and switch to an analog or digital source. From there you can set the rest of your parameters. You can also force analog playback. Some of the features packed into this unit are a speaker test mode for volume and balance, independent volume, balance and delay of speakers, and a nifty little remote that controls everything the main box does.
Speakers .... 5 Sat's and a Sub-woofer. All of which look and sound great. The main sub which is forward firing and forward ported is what I would call a very dark gray, somewhat metallic finish. Almost elegant looking. The Sat's are the same color, except the top and bottoms are a copperish ( That a word ? )color. You'd be hard pressed to have a room where they would look bad in. All the speakers have the typical wire hook-ups and the sub has a sub-woofer volume control and a main volume control on the back.
Set-up, for the most part is very simple. People with very little computer or electronic knowledge may have to read the directions more than once.
