Before I gave birth to my child 19 months ago, my menstrual periods were rather painful. Every month, I knew that uncomfortable cramps were awaiting me unless I took Midol Maximum Strength Menstrual.
This medication really helped me relieve my cramps. I didn’t normally suffer from headaches, backaches or any of the other discomforts associated with menstruation but painful cramps made the first days of my period difficult. I sometimes had to stay home from school since they were quite strong especially in my teens.
On one of those particular days at school, a friend of mine offered me a Midol regular strength tablet. A short time later, my cramps had greatly decreased and I felt like I could face the rest of the day without wincing in pain. From that day on, I wasn’t caught without one of those wonderful tablets.
Through the years, I switched to Midol Maximum Strength Menstrual (tablet form) since it provided me with even more relief for cramps. It’s also designed to alleviate bloating, headaches, backaches and premenstrual tension. I find that this medication works best if you take it a couple of days before your period (I only had to take one tablet every 8 hours during my period for it to be effective). The price is reasonable at about 8.00 a package. I also preferred it over Pamprin Maximum Strength since this medication gave me an upset stomach.
Fortunately, my periods are now relatively painless since the birth of my child and I seldom need to take this medication. I do recommend this product to anyone who would like fast and effective relief of menstrual cramps. It dramatically decreased the intensity of mine.
