Crayola Model Magic
I purchased this Model Magic for my grand children at Christmas time, at our Staples store, so when they visit me they will have something to keep them occupied with.
Your children will really enjoy playing and creating all kinds of super projects with this Model magic. It comes with 6-1/2 oz. bags of Model Magic, with white, blue, red, green, yellow and black colors, which can be mixed together to create a marbled effect or just to change into a different color.
Model Magic is a lightweight spongy material, that feels great to the touch. It's also soft and pliable for easy use, clean handling, safe and non-toxic. It wont crumble or stick to your skin or clothing, and it air dries in 24 hours.
In just a short time the children can make several nice projects which can be a lasting keepsake.
My Grandson glued one of his wallet size school pictures on a piece of cardboard, and rolled out 2 pieces of Magic model into 2 long snakes, and intertwined them to make a picture frame. He made a hole at the top of the frame with a toothpick for hanging. He plans on giving it to his Mom for her Birthday in April, so she can hang it on her bulletin board in her office at work.
Paper clips and toothpicks are handy for poking the Model Magic into shapes you want. By inserting these items into tall thin shapes it will hold them together and strengthen them to hold there shape.
You have to complete a project your working on, as the Model magic cannot be stored back into the original foil bags.
Old combs and old toothbrushes can give some neat effects to your projects to make them stand out.
Attaching self adhesive magnets to a project will make great refrigerator magnets.
By embedding buttons, yarn, sequins, feathers. small flowers or small precious stones will create special effects also.
Children have great imaginations if given the right materials to work with. This soft Model magic will get their juices flowing for making special gifts for a friend or a family member. They can make cool creatures, jewelry, animals, castles, cover cans and boxes, and then decorate them with embedded objects.
Extra Model Magic can be purchased in larger sizes in most stores for about $2.99. So if your children like to work with their hands and make projects, then this might just be the perfect item for them to play and experiment with.
