The best thing about the pair of New Balance 761's that I just purchased was the price. On sale for $75, I feel like I got a bargain price for these shoes. I only wear them for running, which I usually do about 3 times a week for 3-4 miles. From the day I bought them, these shoes have been one of the most comfortable pair I've owned.
I've had a history of foot pain when it comes to working out, from bruised heels to pain in the arch, but these shoes seem to wrap my feet up in a thick, padded shoe, so far preventing any kind of pain from occurring.
The next best thing regarding these shoes is the visual appeal. The design is pleasant, and not too busy. But even better, is that the colors (blue and gold) go well with my school colors (University of Michigan!).
I made sure to treat my shoes with a silicon spray before wearing them the first time, so after 4 months, the shoes still look brand new.
I've never worn New Balance before this, but based on what I've experienced with this shoe, I'm confident that in the future I will be sticking with this brand.
