Pros: Non-greasy. It works!
Cons: A little bit does not go a long way, alas.
The Bottom Line: It's non-greasy and really does work (always a plus when a product lives up to its promise). But buy the gallon drum, 'cause this stuff goes quick!

| jmaslinisahack's Full Review: Nivea Skin Firming Lotion with Q10 |
Six years ago, I was on some thyroid-retarding anti-depressants that packed 95 pounds onto my midget frame. Now that I've long been back to my svelte self, it's time I attacked my stretch marks. So I addressed our resident amatuer dermatologist, Rachel and she recommended Nivea Body Skin-firming Lotion (there are free samples advertised on the Bargains forum). I didn't want to wait for six weeks for my order to process, so, birthday money clutched in my hot, little fist, I trooped on over to the pharmacy at Tops Grocery and bought myself a 12 Oz. bottle. This stuff promises to firm skin in two weeks, and that's a clinical promise, so you know it's kosher Plus, according to the back of the bottle (and you know you can always believe the back of a bottle), it contains ample quantities of Q10 and Biotin:
Q10 is a Coenzyme found naturally in the skin to help defend against aging and maintain skin firmness/tone. Over time, the level of Coenzyme Q10 decreases and your skin starts to lose its natural elasticity.
Biotin, another Coenzyme found in the skin, helps restructure and strengthen your skin's surface for improved texture and softer, smoother skin.
[This lotion is] Clinically proven, within 2 weeks, to provide: visibly firmer, more toned skin; improved skin elasticity; softer, smoother skin texture; healthier, younger-looking skin.
Dermatologist tested
Long lasting, non-greasy moisturization
So, to put it simply, likes and dislkes---GO!
Likes: It really is non-greasy. I expected to smear this stuff on and feel positively amphibious, but your skin, post-application, feels only a little clammy. Plus, no unpleasant tingling, chafing nor numbing of the epidermis.
Dislikes: A little bit does not go a long way. This stuff is assimilated into your flesh zip-quick. I used three or four gobs on my stomach alone! I had to squirt out one-tenth of the bottle just to cover my body, sans forearms and everything knees and below.
Does it work: Oh, yes. I mean, it won't turn your flaccid flesh to flint firmness, no. But it does add some spring and silkiness. Unfortunately, it's really hard to gauge, person to person, how effective this will be. But I'm a small person, though rippled with webs of stretch marks, head to toe, and after a week or so of application, I'd say they're about a third as noticeable, but that's just me.
