Every phone I've ever owned was a Nokia. My last one, purchased in 2005 was a 6230. It was, by far, the best phone I'd ever owned, and many of my friends really dug it, too. Imagine, then, my surprise at what a piece of garbage the N75 is. I don't mean to be harsh. The phone has some great features, but I'm only here to talk about why I hate this GD phone: it's too damn slow. I click a button to send a text message and it takes at least 6 seconds to open that screen. Taking a picture takes even longer. From opening the app to the lag between the time I click the "snap" button, this is a torturous process. I joke with friends that, I hit the button, take a walk around the block and then it will be ready. This could be the phone that puts me off Nokia for good. And that's a shame, because I used to tell my friends that I wanted to marry my old phone. Sure, it's 3G and that's GREAT when surfing, but if I do surf for even 20 minutes during the day, my phone usually dies by 5:00 PM, leaving me incommunicato for the remainder of the night. If you're looking for a phone that won't make you want to smash it to bits at least 3-4 times a day, look elsewhere.
