This is a great little stone for so many reasons. Its versatility is as large as your imagination. It is the perfect stone for Singles, Couples, or Empty Nesters. You can cook a couple of chicken breasts (add tomato sauce and a slice of mozzarella cheese), two salmon steaks or other fish, baking 6 cookies (just save the rest of the dough in your freezer for another time if you freeze individual scoops of dough you can have homemade any time)
the possibilities are endless.
Use this stone in your toaster oven whenever it is too hot to heat up your house using your stove. It is GREAT for leftovers! The Pampered Chef stones are famous! Better than cooking with glass or metals, moisture in foods (and frozen foods are surrounded by ice crystals) evaporates into the stone, leaving you with crisp foods that taste like they were cooked in a stone oven. So if you are baking frozen foods (chicken nuggets, mozzarella sticks, French fries, fish sticks, corn dogs, pigs in a blanket, etc), there is no need to reach in the oven to flip the food. What you see on the top is what you will see on the bottom. If you have kids, this is the perfect size to toss in some nuggets any time you and your husband want to make a more gourmet meal. You can also use this stone to make half recipes, appetizers and more.
Cleaning any stone is quick and EASY! My husband even likes cleaning these. You do not use soap (which is only a loosening agent). Use the hottest water and the little nylon stone scraper or a cleaning brush and scrape. Friction and hot water are what sanitize. Your stone will stain with each use as it seasons. You want your stone to become dark with use. This is what gives it great flavor and makes it nonstick. To season your stone, cover in crescent dough (or bake a high fat food) and bake. You can top that dough with strawberries and whipped cream and have a yummy dessert, or just slice it up and eat with your meal.
