Pros: Sleek, compact, narrow, lightweight. Travel Design. Available in many models with dif. storage capacities.
Cons: No on/off switch. Batteries just keep on running, display keeps on flashing the date/time.
The Bottom Line: Strongly recommend this item if it meets your needs. Be aware of your storage capacity needs and buy the appropriate model from the QR-RR100, QR-RR200, QR-RR240, QR-RR400..

I did not end up using this item as often as I thought I would when I first bought it. My need changed. But I strongly recommend it as a quality item.
I agree with the advantages that were previously mentioned in above review. Lightweight, slim, compact, sleek look, and quality sound are some of this items many positive features. Very unlike most digital recorders in its sleekness. Fits unnoticabely in to a narrow pocket.
This model does not have a large memory capacity. Panasonic sells models with similiar sleek, compact designs that have more storage capacity. I know there is a QR-RR200 and a QR-RR400. There may also be a QR-RR240. They all have the same appearance. Be sure you are getting the model you want.
One disadvantage: There was no on/off switch on the Qr-rr100. The batteries continue running until you take them out. If you do take out the batteries when not in use and then replace the them (like I did) the date and time must be reset. I found this very annoying.
I just can't recall if the memory stayed intact when batteries were taken out and put back in, or when they ran out of power. I don't have the item in front of me right now, and I just can't remember.
