Pros: Picture quality, ease of use, looks. At $2,100 it is a great value.
Cons: I have not been able to find anything about this tv set.
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this brand and model to anybody who is interested in a good value.

This is my first plasma tv and I did quite a bit of research before deciding on this make and model. I purched the set from Sound Advice and had a really great buying experience. The salesperson was extremely knowledable and helpful. Now onto the set. I'm not a "techy" and can't rattle off the specifications, what I can do is tell you that I have three other Analog tvs, with cable service, and this set far and away outperforms them all. (Including my 32" Sony Flay Screen. Although the non-High Definition chanels are not nearly as bright and crisp as those televised in HD, the quality of the picture for all of the channels is much more than I expected and certainly acceptable. Sound Advice did the installation, I just have a cable box attached, and it took the installer 30 minutes start to finish. The manual is easy to understand and the features are what I wanted. (No picture-in-a-picture however the cable package includes this feature. Nice touch. We view the set from about 12 feet away and can see a sharp, clear picture from almost any angle. The remote is also easy to use however I ended up using the one provided for the cable box as it has more features for the cable box. The sound quality is more than adequate for my needs.
A major concern I had was and is how long the plasma set will last so I purchased a 5 year extended warranty for my peace of mind. The sales person at Sound Advice was very positive in his praise of the Panasonic brand for EDTVs and I can literally see why. The EDTV picture is better than some HDTVs I have seen and unless you put the two different types side by side I can't tell the difference.
Bottom line, after having the set for a month I don't regret my purchase!
