| garethbaron's Full Review: RCA Kazoo RD1060 (64 MB) MP3 Player |
This MP3 player is ideal for workouts/Running etc. It is light and the batteries will last for 4 hrs (just enough for your marathon!).
The S/W "MusicMatch" works reasonably well but can be a pig to get set up. Once you have got the hang of it though, it seems to work quite well. It is worth the extra money to upgrade the S/W since it gives you extra features.
I found an issue with Tearing of tracks (by this I mean that the track playing off the Solid State Memory Stick would not be properly synchronized). The sound you get is a slowed down bit of a random track for a couple of seconds between tracks. This may be due to the memory I'm using.
Support: Haha, now there's a joke! I've asked RCA if there are any firmware and software patches and haven't had any response. If you are the type of person who looks at buying a product as a long term thing, I would advise boycotting RCA!
