Cons: Like all 14" band saws- cost seems high
KennyBond's Full Review: Ridgid 14" Band Saw BS1400
I started out with the Delta 9" band saw and hated it! I eventually returned the saw for full credit. I began my search looking at 14" Delta, & Jet ( I have a Jet 6" jointer and love the quality). I then looked at the Ridgid Band Saw and it had the same features as the other models but the price was better. I already had a Ridgid Drill Press and was very happy with it. My previous experience with Ridgid's customer service was the best I have ever had with any company. I had used the lifetime warranty at Ridgid and knew that they stood behind their product.
After much consideration I finally bought the saw and have been very happy. I have the fence and it works great.
