It is a breeze to set up, but the hard drive went bad after only 6 months. They sent me a new one quickly, it installed very easily, and it was totally free. The new hard drive has lasted over 16 months so far. Windows Me could be better, but that's not the system's fault.
It comes with a full-featured Internet keyboard and a scroll mouse. The CD-ROM drive could be faster, and the video card only has 8MB of memory, but overall the system is pretty good. The system looks nice, and you can change the faceplate like it was a huge cell phone :). The system could come with more RAM (with only 64MB), but you can upgrade it to 768MB, which is pretty high. Serious gamers should definitely look beyond this system, but with a cheap RAM upgrade on this system, you'll be able to run many smaller games and watch DVDs. Of course, it doesn't come with a DVD drive, so you'll need to have one put in.
It is a very upgradable system. As I said, it lets you upgrade to 768MB RAM, it has a free 3.5" drive bay (for internal zip drives), and it lets you put in a second hard drive. It lets you burn CDs right out of the box (provided you buy blank CD's first!). It only has 1 free expansion slot, which you'll probably fill up pretty fast. But if you don't wan't to go inside the computer, it has lots of USB ports (2 on the front and 2 on the back) for external expansion. It has no FireWire ports, though (if you want them, you'll have to install a FireWire card, and there goes your expansion slot...).
Overall, this system is good for beginners and semi-advanced users alike.
