Pros: Top quality motherboard,highly compatible, very stable, very fast, easily overclocked.
Cons: Not the cheapest out there, the KT7A version just came out as well.
The Bottom Line: It doesn't get much better than this.

I have been using this motherboard for a few months now and I have nothing but good things to say about it.
First of all, I ran into none of the compatibility problems that I have been reading about from other Epinion users that have used the AMD Athlon. When I read their reviews I noticed a common thread...none of them used an Abit motherboard. Coincidence? Maybe, but I plugged everything into this top quality board and turned it on...first try, no problems. I have always believed that you get what you pay for and this is no exception. I sprang for a few extra bucks for a motherboard that I knew I could trust and I have to say that it paid off.
The Abit KT7 comes with the wonderful Soft Menu 3 as well. Using this feature allows you to easily change your front side bus speed 1 MHz at a time. A very nice feature if you overclock your CPU. For those of you a little more courage you can always unlock the CPU using a pencil (seriously this works...a few sites out there show you how) and then use Soft Menu 3 to change the multiplier on the chip. This results in a ton of overclocking capability). As yet another testament to its quality and performance, most overclocking sites have begun using the Abit KT7 or the RAID variant as their test platforms for benchmarks.
Overall, I could not be happier with this board. I have left my computer running for weeks at a time with absolutely no stability problems with the system at all and I have been very happy with the performance of this board in my game playing.
If you want one of the best performing motherboards on the market today go with an Abit.
