HP Pavilion line has seemed to have fallen into that crack of "we tried it and now we're on to something else." This is an attractive laptop with a somewhat small - 12inch TFT Active Matrix screen - (the good one). This is both good and bad in that those things viewed on the screen are also going to be smaller and sometimes may be hard to see. To the plus side the smaller screen makes it more portable and weigh less.
If you get a good one they are very nice. However, I have found through agonizing and repeated efforts to get one corrected that was new and still under warranty that their service and support - at least for this model - is just unavailable. In all fairness I must also relay that this was not my first HP laptop and that my last one came to me in good working order and I few problems with it. As with all laptops make sure you get a chance to try out the keyboard before buying any brand. No matter how nifty it is if the keyboard doesn't match your touch preference you will find you are uncomfortable or disappointed with it.
