Well, all is well in the town of Westley-ville ever since we've moved on up to the "big boy chair"!
We had the basic Graco high-chair and used it ever since he began eating solids on a regular basis. But, then we decided to get a travel booster for trips to the grandparents and other places.
Well, for portability, I don't rate it very well. If you're like us, then you need all the extra car space you can get. There's no room for a big chunky booster in the trunk with everything else. Oh well...
Just when we thought it was a wasted purchase...we hit life with the "big boy" of the house. No longer the "bey-bey", we decided dinner time would go smoother if he could sit at the table with us, yet still be held in there to prevent premature escapes!
So, off we went to the storage shed at the side of the house! We rescued the box and began life with all of us at the table.
The best part is...that mid-morning bowl of oatmeal while watching Blue's Clues no longer requires dragging the high-chair into the living room, we just detach the booster from the kitchen chair and prop it up against the wall and add the tray...poof! Instant happiness and no oatmeal in the carpet!
Now...about the chair itself!
-It's pretty durable, not broken or bent any part of it so far.
-Has straps to attach it safely to the chair and keep your little person safely strapped in with or without using the tray.
-Adjustable seating to boost them up to the table.
-It's easy to store. All fits back in the box and easily back into storage or the back of the closet!
-No weird designs or horrible colors to look at or clash with your decor!
But...the best of all:
-It's easy to clean! You heard me...it's all plastic. So, a quick swipe of a wet paper towel or a Clorox wipe (my new cleaning favorite), and it's as good as new...and lemony fresh (if you use the wipes)!
Worth it's weight in gold...or graham crackers (whichever is more important in your household). Gets the seal of approval from our "big boy".
