The Bottom Line: Small, compact, a lot of functionality and intelligence in this cell phone. Combines a web browser, a calendar and a voice recorder in one. Very convenient.

When I got the phone, I did not read the manual. Setting it up took 1-2 minutes once I knew the buttons.
The features I liked most:
1. Animated icons.
2. A lot of functions conveniently arranged in sub-menus. Some of my favorites:
(a)Calendar with "to do" list.
(b)Mini Web browser.
(c)Voice Dial.
3. 4 Ringer settings - High, Med, Low, Vibrate
4. A good choice of 10 ringer tones
5. Battery lasts long ~ 4 days before re-charging.
6. Voice memo
The cell phone acts as my organizer through the convenient calendar. With the mini web browser I usually browse the internet on my way to work. Although the functionality of the browser is not as complete as the real one, I still get the most essential functions. I use my Samsung to read the news every morning.
The voice dial can be configured to recognize voice and dial voice pre-programmed numbers. Built-in intelligence!
I have 911 programmed, so all I have to do is speak it to the phone and it is immediately dialed.
The thing that got me confused a bit was that I could not find the power on/off button. After some experimentation, it turned out to be the "END" button.
I thought I would not hear well on the Samsung phone, but the quality is great and the volume of the speaker can be adjusted.
When I have an idea that I can forget, I use the phone to record a short voice memo for myself.
The battery lasts long. When I don't use the cell phone much, it needs to be re-charged after 4 days. I have talked for more than 2 hours until it got discharged. Charging takes 45 minutes to 1 hour.
With this Samsung cell phone, I got compactness, convenience and ease of use. I also got an intelligent phone and an organizer in one.
This is the smallest and best cell phone I have ever had.
