Love, Love, Love this bed

My husband and I purchased our Sleep Number 4000 about a month ago. The only way I can think to describe this bed is LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!
Before purchasing this bed, I had to take a sleep aid in order to sleep through the night. If not, I would wake up every hour from 4am on. Also, we both have had minor back problems in the past (like, not enough to go to the doctor for x-rays but still have a dull, lulling pain throughout the day). I am 26 and he is 30, we are both average in size and weight, and have a fairly active lifestyle. That being said, back pain should not be a part of our every day life. When we got married about six months ago, we were sleeping on his bed from college! That's right...linens and all. Yuck. So after paying off our honeymoon and Christmas we decided to splurge on the Sleep Number bed in hopes that it would help our back pain, and help me sleep through the night.
Boy am I glad we did!!! I could tell a difference from the first night we slept on the bed. I actually slept through the night without waking up once. My husband and I both noticed a difference in the way our back felt throughout the day. I would highly recommend this bed to anyone. I look forward to going to bed at night!!
You do need to keep in mind, however, that this bed is not a cure-all or a medical doctor. It is simply an aid to help in minor sleep and back issues. In reading other reviews it sounds like people think this bed is a magic wand that will relieve you of all your ailments. This is not a magic bed, just a really good one! As for assembly, we put it together ourselves with no problem. My husband and a friend put it together in less than 30 minutes.
