Pros: This Mattress is very comfortable.
Cons: Springs broke within 4 years
The Bottom Line: I would not waste my money. I have purchased mattresses with no warranties from discounters which I had not expect to last and they lasted over five years.

| karen1031's Full Review: Simmons Beautyrest Mattress |
I am married for 25 years and have purchased many mattresses for my children and myself. All different brands and sizes of mattresses from twin to king size. My king size Simmons Beautyrest Westminster Mattress was purchased at Lazarus Department Store in Cincinnati. I was never told of the warranty or the care instructions.
Being a veteran mattress buyer I knew about protecting the mattress and rotation. So after I purchased my new mattress and box spring, I kept all the tags on the mattress and rotated it as suggest and kept a mattress cover on it at all times. Within three years the mattress spring broke on one side of the mattress and then on the other side of the mattress.
I mentioned my problem to one of my employees and she stated that Beautyrest mattresses have a seven to ten year warranty and I should contact the store from which I purchased it. After calling a 1-800 number I requested a service call to have my mattress replaced. The following information I uncovered was shocking...if you have any stain or mark whatsoever on your mattress, even if a spring is stabbing you in the back and it is an obvious manufacturer's defect they will not take your mattress back. After going to the Simmons website I was appalled at all the stipulations they have so as to not honor the warranty.
As mentioned above my employee told me that her Beautyrest mattress that she had for only one year had the same problem as mine. When the serviceman from Lazarus came to inspect her mattress he refused to honor the warranty on her mattress because there was a two inch round spot at the top of the mattress (that she thought might be coffee) and the serviceman refused to pickup the mattress and told her that they have no way to know if the stain is blood or feces and stains void the warranty. So I guess that all the women out there which are the majority of mattress buyers please take note "If you have an accident at that time of the month you are out of luck." However, if you are not a wiz at removing the stain however small, they will void your warranty.
So I felt it my duty to post this in order to protect fellow consumers as to this loophole in mattress warranties. I have not had my mattress inspected yet but will post again if they refuse to honor the warranty. I will let you all know.
